Translation

Marketing Translation

We can offer the translation of a wide variety of marketing documents, across an array of different industry sectors. On provision of the content to be translated, the responses to our questionnaires plus any previously translated content, our translation will be carried out by translators who are experts in your industry. Please note that, depending on the source file, we can also offer desktop publishing solutions for print.

Web Content Translation

Our web content translation service enables you to get the most out of your multilingual websites, whether this is launching your website in another country or updating content on an existing site. Our seamless workflow provides you with professionally translated website content that is also SEO friendly, to ensure your website will be visible to your target audience in their local language and search engines. Working to your brief, we’ll deliver content which is in-line with your brand image and guidelines and in the format most compatible with your CMS requirements.

Linguistic and Contextual Review

The linguistic and contextual review is another element of our quality assurance process. Should you not have in-house speakers who could review the translated content for style and consistency then we would recommend the use of this service. In this instance, an independent reviewer would be asked to look over the translated content and make note of any areas that could be amended. We would require the need for a linguistic and contextual review to be outlined at the start of the project.

Multilingual Desktop Publishing

Our multilingual desktop publishing service covers any desktop publishing requirements for artwork intended for use in materials such as leaflets, brochures and technical manuals. The translated content will be carefully embedded into the original artwork ensuring that your multilingual material replicates the source as closely as possible. We will require you to provide all the original source artwork in an editable format, including graphics and fonts, in order to establish the best way to go about the desktop publishing process.

Technical Translation

Technical translation covers the translation of a wide variety of documents across an array of different industry sectors. On provision of the content to be translated, the responses to our questionnaires plus any previously translated content, our translation will be carried out by our carefully selected translators chosen based on their expertise in your industry, their suitability and experience.

Copywriting Linguistic Quality Review

In order to attract customers, it is essential that your website and other written literature are written to a high standard. We will ensure that your copywritten content is of such a standard, checking for misspellings and grammatical errors as well as checking the flow of the text. We will make changes to the text where necessary to ensure it reads as smoothly and professionally as possible.

File Preparation

When you have content which requires translating, in order to implement your translation workflow it is often necessary to prepare the files prior to being processed. This if often the case when using Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools. A localisation engineer, or your dedicated project manager, will assess the source files which you have made available to us and then prepare the files in a suitable fashion to make the translation workflow smoother.

Online QA

An online QA is recommended prior to the launch of a translated website in order to review the localised content in context. This is particularly useful for e-commerce websites where we can recreate the user journey as they make their way around the site. The online QA allows us to identify any amends that should be made before the site goes live and you’ll receive a report detailing the findings.

Content Adaptation

As some countries have regional linguistic variations, it is important to adapt your content so that it is suitable for your particular target region as this will help your audience to understand it and engage with it. We will adapt your existing translation in your target language to take any regional spelling, grammar and style variations into consideration. You will receive the adapted content in your preferred format.

Legal Translation

Legal translation covers the translation of a wide variety of documents across an array of different industries. On provision of the content to be translated, our translation will be carried out by our carefully selected translators chosen based on their expertise in the legal sector, their suitability to your case, and their overall experience.

Additional Project Management

There may be times when you require an urgent translation with a very quick turnaround time, your dedicated project manager may have to dedicate time outside of their working hours, over evenings and weekends, in order to liaise with translators and deliver final files to you. This additional time is not covered by our standard project management fee, and additional charges will be incurred.

Client Specific Engineering Requirements

By allowing for client specific engineering requirements to be incorporated into your workflow we are able to offer a completely tailored solution to your translation needs. This flexibility may reduce the involvement of your in-house teams, as well as potentially increasing turnaround time and productivity. Your dedicated project manager and/or localisation engineer will conduct tasks both pre- and post-translation to ensure consistency and efficiency throughout all of your translation projects moving forward.
